Zone Pastor Karl Case
Family
Karl and Kathy were married on June 2, 1973, live on a farm in Bone Gap, and are the parents of 3 sons. Karl August was married to Melody Luthe on October 5, 1996 and they have two children, Konner and Katelyn. Kris was married to Erin Dalton on August 7, 2004 and they have three children, Kolter, Keaton, and Emersyn. Their third son, Kyle was married to Alyssa Mitchell on September 4, 2004 and they have two sons, Kaiser and Kollin. Karl and Kathy love to have their family around them, and especially enjoy being grandparents.
Ministry
Karl and Kathy were both raised in Christian homes, and both became Christians at an early age. Karl continues, "We have enjoyed being involved in the church. I became a Christian when I was 10 years old, and have always known that serving God with my life was a priority. God knew my heart, and blessed me with a wife that shared the same thoughts.
"Ministry to me has been learning the art of building relationships with people, and helping them to find their place in the kingdom of God. I believe that everyone was created by God to fulfill a purpose for Him. It has been a joy to serve the last 2 years as Zone Pastor at the House of Prayer." Karl and Kathy enjoy hosting people in their home, and look forward to attending the Home Group meetings during the week.
Karl recently accomplished his goal of receiving an Associates degree in Biblical Counseling. He is also a member of the IABC (International Association of Biblical Counselors.) "In the future, if the opportunity arises, I would enjoy furthering my education in this field, as well as some other areas of interest. I have said many times, that my favorite days are the days that I get to spend at the desk and study."
Karl concludes, "It is exciting for Kathy and I to see people accept the challenge to be workers in the 'Harvest field'. We want to spend our lives doing things with eternal value and want to pass that vision along to the our fellow Christian brothers and sisters."
