MINISTRIES
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
At the HOP, children can experience the love of God and have fun in a safe environment. We have volunteers available to assist parents with check-in through our digital system, 15 minutes prior to service on Sunday mornings. Volunteers have received a background check and adequate training. Class curriculum is prepared for each age group, and includes Bible lessons, worship, and a time for games and free play.

YOUTH & COLLEGE MINISTRIES
At the HOP, you become family. We encourage one another in seeking God’s best. We believe in getting out of our comfort zones, being the hands and feet of Jesus, and listening to the Holy Spirit for His leading in our lives. If you are in middle school, high school, or college and want to be challenged and make a difference in the world, then we invite you to join us every Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m.
Our youth and college ministries meet together for worship, and then
has small groups for a time of Bible study and discussion.
We also have local outings and trips planned throughout the year.
This is a great time for youth to get to know each other in a fun, positive environment.
The Youth Group Team Leaders are Cheri Sutherland,
Jacob & Heather Oldendorf and Jessica Bare.
MEN's & WOMEN's MINISTRIES
At the HOP, we believe in building strong families. That's why men's and women's ministry is so important for developing Christ-centered relationships and understanding our identity and purpose.
Men’s Meetings are designed to bring open discussions and Bible studies in a ‘round table’ setting. At times, we will hear from a guest minister, assist with needs in our community, or meet for dinner or a ballgame. We want to focus on relevant life issues, being men of integrity, and encouraging one another through God's Word and prayer. Contact Danny Glover for more info.
Women's Meetings are focused on developing godly character and friendships, while providing a time of refreshing for daily life. We meet at various times throughout the year for Bible studies, outreach events, and group outings. We believe that God desires to restore us, strengthen us, and fill us with joy, so that we can carry the love of Jesus to others around us.
VAN MINISTRY
Interested in attending the House of Prayer, but do not have a ride? Our van ministry is the solution! Fun-loving volunteers who value your safety, provide rides every Sunday morning for the 9 a.m. service. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Contact the church office for more information.
WORSHIP TEAM
Worship is a key component to our expression of faith as believers in Jesus, and an essential part of our services. If you love to sing, or play an instrument, and are interested in joining the worship team, contact the church for more information.
1 Chronicles 16:23-27 - "Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his dwelling place."
SERVE TEAMS
We have many ways for you to get involved at the House of Prayer. Hospitality, Greeting, Kid's & Youth Ministry, Worship, Media, Outreach, and Missions are just some of the ministry areas where you can serve. As a volunteer, you will receive training, have a chance to experience special workshops, discover your spiritual gifts, and build genuine relationships with others serving alongside you. The simple truth is, we need each other. Ephesians 4:16 says, "From Him the whole body is fitted and held together by every supporting ligament; and as each individual part does its work, the body grows and builds itself up in love." Contact us today for more info about how you can get involved.
