OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Operation Christmas Child is an affiliate of Samaritan’s Purse® that distributes small gifts, toiletries, and the love of Jesus all in a shoebox. Since 1993, OCC has sent more than 100 million shoeboxes filled with dolls, stuffed animals, toys, flashlights, socks, toothpaste, soap, etc. to needy children in more than 130 countries. After receiving their shoebox, children can be enrolled in a 12 lesson discipleship program called The Greatest Journey. This program not only introduces children to salvation in Jesus, but encourages them to continue to be faithful followers of Christ. Rosanne Garner is our OCC coordinator. The House of Prayer accepts donations, toys and supplies all year long in preparation for OCC assembly and delivery.
